Great rug8 x 10 bought for living room. Came way sooner than expected. Colors exactly as pictured. Rug came well wrapped in heavy plastic. Unpacked easily and was almost completely flat immediately upon unrolling and definitely no lumps or curling by the next day. There was hardly any odor or smell to the rug at all, and I am very sensitive to odors. Very nicely made. Medium sized spill the first week. I used my portable upholstery cleaner and sucked up the spill. It cleaned up completely and unlike my previous cheaper rug, stayed nice and flat in the wet area. My last rug would buckle up when cleaned and needed to be weighted down to flatten back out. This one stayed flat and dried quickly. I've only had it a few weeks but I believe I will continue to be very satisfied with this purchase. Did not put pad under it. It is nice and soft but not cushioned. If you want cushioning you would need a pad. It doesn't slide but we do have furniture on it.
