Blount Home Education Association BHEA is an association of independent home schooling families that formed in the late s to encourage successful home education in Blount County. The organization, which operates with the help of many parent volunteers, provides support, information and encouragement to home schooling families and has around student members. BHEA sponsors many activities throughout the school year to enhance the educational program that each participating family provides at home. We are a ministry to the church and community as an evangelistic outreach and to assist parents in the educational training of their children for God. Classical Coversations Classical Conversations is a Classical Christian homeschool program that offers weekly one day classes for students ages Kth grade. We also provide parent training, college dual-enrollment classes, testing services, and leadership training. Classical Conversations mission is "To know God and make Him known. Our teens have a community service group for volunteer opportunities and a Teen Night Out on a monthly basis. We offer a basketball program for boys and girls ages 7 to 18; a cheer program for girls kindergarten to 12th grade; three 7 week long sessions of co-op for preschool to high school in fall, winter, and spring; field trips, holiday parties, and more to our families.
