It s impossible to find good tasting protein shakes that don t use artificial sweeteners or stevia - just sugar or at least a combination of sugar and stevia. I currently use Gold Standard Natural Whey, but it s really pricey. I also wanted something I could use in baking. This concentrate is super versatile. I add it to all my smoothies and shakes and have used it in baked goods - I just substitute a scoop or two for some of the flour. It does tend to make baked goods somewhat dense, so keep that in mind. You can also make your own protein bars using a number of recipes found online. My usual shake is simply frozen berries, orange juice or almond milk, a scoop of Whey powder, and a little agave or sugar. I blend in a nutribullet and it s super filling. One note - blend your other ingredients first and then add the whey powder, otherwise, it tends to get quite puffy which is a texture I don t care for.
