I would give this five stars but: 1. The inner hinge piece was assembled crooked and I had to disassemble it and install the hinges correctly this was not difficult but time consuming and had I not noticed this problem I may have damaged the unit trying to force the base pieces to fit during assembly. 2. when I inquired about a replacement piece for one I scratched I did not hear back from the manufacturer. Amazon did respond and made it all good. Having said all that this is a nice piece of furniture. It is solid and the fit and finish after I corrected the issue are very good and better than more expensive pieces I saw at the local stores. I wasn't sure what I would think of the bronzed glass but I have to say it is really nice and adds just enough tint to mask my A/V components giving it a nice finished look for my family room. The woodwork and stained finishes are rich and beautiful. The hardware and handles are nice heavy metal and look just fantastic. I chose this unit because of its size. It is the right height so that you look straight on at the TV. It also was one of the very few that would actually house high end AV components without having to cut the back out for the connectors and wires to fit. There is a lot of space for components behind the glass and plenty of storage on the ends for my large music and movie collection. It is boxed very well and even though I watched the cranky UPS driver drop it on his lift and rough it up I thought for sure he damaged it and I even heard him say how mad he was at the size and weight of the package the carton took the abuse and all was perfect inside. I am providing the inner measurements because I searched high and low for them and the inner measurements that the manufacture gave me were not accurate. The right and left cabinet have a usable space of 13"Wx17.75"Dx19"H. The center is 28"Wx17.75"Dx19"H. I hope this helps.
