Good looking good directionsThis product had the best directions I've seen accompanying a product made in China--looks good--simple and elegant. I actually hard-wired it to use it as a hanging lamp and it looks great, but if I had the receptacle to wire it to I would have. Thoughtful details like bronze tabs on the screws that go into the ceiling to hold the plate on. The rim of the top had a chip in it which I didn't notice until I unwrapped the glass. I'd look at the glass first to see if it is intact and perfect.
