Fahimuddin Patel: Top surface cover or paint coming off just few months after use

I bought this desk when I started work from home. In couple of months of using it the top surface started deteriorating and showing small white patches where "paint" was coming off. See the picture showing white spots at the edge of the table. These spots are appearing all over the table top. There is a big white spot in the center that I had to cover with sticker.
