Not as comfortable as I'd hopedThis isn't the worst chair I've ever had but it's also not the best. It was pretty easy to put together and does have a nice backward tilt to it if I put my feet up on a footrest. I'm 5'5" tall and weigh around 180 pounds and my butt just fits in the seat with very little room to spare. I personally prefer more wiggle room. The armrests are a little high, so they push my arms up too far for comfort and make my shoulders/neck ache. They are also hard as rocks. There's no cushioning and my elbows and forearms got sore fast. I ordered armrest pads and hope that will help but that's another 30 to make this chair more comfortable. I sit at my desk for several hours at a time some days and after only four weeks the cushion on the seat has flattened and left me with very little support. It still has more padding than my last chair but my butt hurts after sitting in this one for only an hour or two. The lumbar support seems okay but the extra cushioning at the top of the back of the chair pushes directly against my shoulder blades and makes them ache after a while. I feel like that upper padding should be higher or lower to fit into the curves of my body more comfortably. This chair might work best for a thinner person who is either taller or shorter than me. If my telecommute situation should go on much longer, I'm afraid I might have to buy another chair.
