Island King: Gorgeous, but delicate

This is a beautiful piece - worthy of 5 stars for looks and "Wow" appeal, but... there are a few issues. As others have said, it is very delicate. Mine arrived with the ends of 2 of the Wooden rays snapped off. But they glued back together easily and securely and you can't tell they were ever broken. I figured that was less of a hassle than sending it back. Also, the hanging hook on the back sticks out past the battery compartment casing by a couple millimeters which causes the clock to hang a bit unevenly with the top hanging farther from the wall than the bottom . But I just added a thick adhesive pad on the back for balance and now it gangs perfectly balanced. So since I didn't expect an arts crafts project when I paid over 200, I had to drop a star. But I'm quite happy with it now.
